Sin embargo, la cantidad de abono que recibe un bonsái plantado dependerá de la calidad del suelo; si el suelo es muy rico en nutrientes no se requiere de abono hasta haber pasado una cantidad específica de años y crianza. Otro punto a tener en consideración es el abono en sí, generalmente cualquier abono funciona para los bonsái, así, en tanto sepamos su contenido debemos agregar el correspondiente. Luz solar

No es de extrañar que un sitio con alta luz solar sea un excelente sitio para un bonsái; sin embargo, de no poseer uno directamente, un lugar donde la calidad de luz natural sea alta será suficiente para el árbol.
